• First encountered Yasmin's presence in Ahevar during Session 4/14/2024:
  • During one of our first nights in Ahevar, on the roof, Cedwin saw light (like a flash) in Building #12, which should be empty. Upon investigation, it smelled like jasmine, and there were burned pages in the fireplace. Footprints led to the village’s portcullis, where there was an ash outline of a person. The guards were sleeping, with ash on their faces. A giant black creature was flying outside the city walls - it looks like a giant bat. It flew silently to the NE toward the Shaar.
  • Deemos & Aeros saw the girl who Cedwin witnessed. They hadn’t seen her before. She had red curly hair and kept the end pages to the book. She was wearing a long purple cloak and a witches hat.
• Yasmin was in her Spellwright Services in Ahevar before we got to town - Arlen said that she was new to town, rude, and had a bad aura about her that troubled the shopkeeper. She was looking for high-level items - ingredients and things to break high-level enchantments (Wand of Dispelling and ingredients). (Session 4/21/2024)
• We learn that she was looking for materials on immortal beings in the library in Ahevar prior to our arrival. She also spoke to Barnabas Crenley and he probably mentioned that he was restoring the stained glass window. (Session 5/5/2024)
• The centaurs told us that Kholtar is empty and that everyone has left. The gates are locked. Footprints led east towards the Rift. Kholtar was inhabited 3 months ago, so it had to have happened since then. We set out to Kholtar to investigate, along with Ecrom, Ephron, and Isani. We approach Kholtar and see what appears to be a large black plume of smoke above the city/fort. Something black is burning things in the city. Ta’an uses his spyglass and sees a large-sized bat and a purple-robed, red-haired woman riding it. We tell the centaurs about our former experiences with them. The centaurs rush towards the city to kill the woman, as they bear scars from a previous encounter with her.
• In Kholtar, we find Yasmin riding Ifrit, burning what looks to be a library or a building full of papers. Her eyes appear to be pale and milky white. She tells us, “This isn’t what I want, stay out of this place or you’ll end up as a target as well.” This session is when we learn that her name is Yasmin, and the bat creature is Ifrit. We allow her to escape, and she said we could meet later and talk. She flew towards the south/southwest. (Session 5/26/2024)
